(i) According to AS/NZS 4146:2000 disinfection can be achieved by thermal or chemical means. Compliance with the requirements of AS/NZS 4146:2000 clause 3.5.1, 3.5.2 and 3.5.3 must be achieved. Options such as linen pathology testing using AGAR method or Hygiene check swabs are used. A documented process illustrating compliance is available for inspection by ECOLAB’s.
